Message from the
Executive Director

The CFGA is pleased
be working with the Saskatchewan Forage Council to host the 6th Annual CFGA
Conference in Saskatoon.

In recognition of
2015 being the United Nations Food & Agriculture Organization’s
International Year of Soils, the theme for this year’s conference is: Canadian Forage in the International
Year of Soils – Capture the Intensity!

The future is bright
for the Canadian forage industry.  Beef demand is unprecedented, the
dairy sector remains strong, and forage export destinations are actively
seeking high quality Canadian products. Opportunities are many for companies
positioned to support and enable our growing and dynamic industry.

The conference will
highlight intensive forage management systems and the potential of forages to
provide ecosystem goods and services for all Canadians.

Given the extent of
our industry, the numerous industries that it services, and the economic
activity that it generates, we certainly have a reason to celebrate the
Canadian forage industry, and the 2015 CFGA Conference will be THE meeting
place for Canada’s forage industry.

Plan now to join us
in Saskatoon November 17-19, 2015 and be part of this ground breaking
conference, celebrating an industry on the rise.
