Membership
We have 3 types of membership:
Individual Member
A person from any sector with a vested interest in the forage industry but does not belong to a state affiliate council.
Affiliate Member
A person who joins a local or regional affiliate council is automatically an AFGC member.
Student Member
A high school or college student with an education path focused in the forage industry.
There are many benefits to being a member of AFGC, such as:

- Certified Forage and Grassland Professional
- Certified Forage and Grassland Apprentice
AFGC members are asked on the Membership Application to select the sector they represent:
Industry—members who work for private industries operated for profit
Producer—members whose primary source of income is from owning and/or operating a farm.
Public—members who work for public agencies, foundations and institutes, and individuals that support the forage industry.
